Our Beliefs

About the Bible:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness - 2 Timothy 3:16.

About God:

God exist in three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost and these distinct persons are one God. God created the heavens and the earth. God sent his son, Jesus, to be born of virgin, to die on a cross, to be buried in a tomb, to rise on the third day, to return to the right hand of the Father and is soon to return for his people. God is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.

About Salvation:

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but if you repent, accept the free gift of salvation, believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and confess with your mouth that you are a sinner, then you will be saved.

About the Church:

Christ is the head of the Church (Ephesians 5:23). The church follows two ordinances. The first is baptism, the symbolic gesture of burying the "old" self and resurrecting the "new" by being submersed in water. The second is The Lord's Supper, the symbolic gesture of remembering God's sacrifice of dying on the cross for our sins. The bread represents the body of Christ that was bruised and wounded and the wine (juice) represents the blood of Christ that was shed.
